Since I last posted a picture, I have completed a few things. First are 2 pair of thumbless mittens with crocheted I-cords for my twin nieces.
This is a Fun Fur Bottom Hat that I made for another one of my nieces. I should have blocked it before photographing it. What's next? I have cast on for a child size 2 cardigan and I cast on a rather girly hat. I will keep you updated with pictures of those as soon as I complete them. How are you doing on your holiday gift knitting?
You're doing much better than me. I made a cowl this month and a scarf back in June. That's it. I have one more project to finish and then I'm throwing the towel in. I hate knitting under pressure.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck to you though. I love the hat with the fun trim!
You have been busy!
ReplyDeleteI can't take the pressure of having to knit something by a certain time. haha I have been knitting dishclothes for my sister because she won't use anything else in her kitchen and she loves them and uses them so I feel good about making them and they are quick and portable and some of them look kinda cute so it's not too bad. I just don't like making two in a row so I space them.
I made my son a hat for his birthday and it actually fits him! I was pretty excited! haha
That hat you made with the fun fur on the edge is so cute! I bet my granddaughter would love something like that.
7 weeks til Christmas?? Lalalala, I didn't hear you.
ReplyDeleteReally nice finishes.
Hi Beverly - just dropped in for a visit. Thanks for posting on my blog about my Button-up Poncho. Someone started a CAL on Crochetville if you're interested. I've enjoying looking at your projects. Happy Crocheting!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Shelle
I love the crocheted I-cord. I do that too. And, WOW, you have one-third of your gifts done!! Good for you. I'm already beginning to revise my list.. :)
ReplyDeleteThe mittens are so cutie and any little girl would love to have that sweet hat!
